Hello readers, thanks for checking out my “About Me” page! Good to know that you’re interested in who I am. I guess to start off I’ll tell you my name is Nick, and I am 23 years old. I’d like to maintain some privacy but I will tell you that I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in finance.
I like to think I’ve had an entrepreneurial mindset from a young age, at least 10 or so. I remember selling Pokemon cards at yard sales and haggling with the neighborhood kids over every penny. Later on, around the beginning of high school, I found a way to make money that was a little more lucrative, yet not quite the most honest. No I didn’t steal or deal drugs, actually I found website, which at the time was called Rakuten, selling Playstation 3 controllers for around $30. I then turned around and listed those same controllers on Ebay for $50 profiting about $500 in a week. I think that experience really taught me that I wanted a few things in life.
The first was that I wanted to make a lot of money, but on my own time. I later learned about passive income and investing and realized that was what I was looking for. I want to make money, and then have that money work for me so I can focus on hobbies rather than work.
The second was that I couldn’t settle for a typical 9 to 5. I want to explore more unorthodox methods of making money, like creating or flipping websites. Of course, it’s impractical to think that right off the bat I can just start making enough to support myself, so I do work full time but continue my passion in my free time.
The last thing I want is fun and intellectual stimulation. At the risk of sounding conceited, I always felt like school and every job I’ve had was too easy and didn’t challenge me enough intellectually. I’m no Einstein, but I love to learn. I love having to think about difficult problems and finding unique solutions that other’s may not have seen yet. To me, anything that can make money, challenge my brain, and is fun at the same time is the perfect job for me.
And so here I am, practicing my entrepreneurial skills in a fun environment. Hoping that while I learn to make money online, I can also teach people as well. I won’t pretend to be a know it all when it comes to this online money making stuff, so if you have suggestions or ideas for me, please feel free to submit it in the comments or on the “Contact Me” page.
